If you have twenty to thirty hours to devote to each event, not
including course set up, Tom would love to have another understudy!
We can always use an extra set of hands and feet.
As for Saint Joseph's run /walk - You really do need to do age
(grade) groups. It isn't fair to a first grader to have to compete
with a seventh or eight grader and at the higher grades, 6, 7, and 8,
you might want to seperate girs from boys (the girls are faster!)
If you are doing the run / walk around the school there is not shade
so I would suggest a water stop at the 1/2 mile point especially for
the younger kids!
Are you going to 'time' the kids? What kinds of awards were you
thinking about, ribbons would be appropriate.
