Hi Everyone! Now that we are over the t-shirt controversy I am here to
ask for help/advice from all you experienced runners! I have been asked
by St.Josephs School (since I think I am the only serious runner there)
to head up a School fun run/walk. They would only like to do a one mile
since the kids at the school are only from PK3 to 8th Grade. The plan
is to do it on Wednesday Oct. 22, 2008 after school around 3:30 just
before the annual Auction that is held on Oct. 25. (The school's major
fundraiser) I already have Publix/and Tropicana donating beverages.
(Tom- you really make these events run so smoothly and I know I
appreciate all you do.) I know the school wants t-shirts and hey Jenna,
maybe you can help design this one!!!!!!!!!I have alot of parents that
signed up to volunteer and have the school coaches marking the
course/field etc. I guess I am just asking for any advice/what you
think etc.. and if anyone would like to be a sponsor/have an idea go
ahead and email me! I didn't know if I should have one big group or
section it out by age/ wear bibs w/numbers, where to get the awards
etc... Hey maybe by the end of this Tom can train me to be the new race
director??? Thank you for any input!
