Great seeing the Llamas and other PA clubs represent on DG Monthly/January's
coverage of the tourney @ Codorous. Provided a nice diversion from a hideous
first half by Penn State. Thanks!

Who won the WFL drawing for December?

I have not been able to play the past two weeks due to the drop in the
interest rates...I've been swamped in the office.

I was leaving the format wide open for flick drive, but it does not
appear to have been selected during the past two weeks.

I may be in this time round if a couple of factors such as found discs, global warming and other activities line up properly for the second leg.  The mileage to the the courses is listed below and as you have proven you need to throw return trip timetables out the window.  There is also a sunrise/sunset, total daylight and excuses table listed below.   It looked a lot better in Excel ... looks like everyday is playable except, especially after the Steeler lose on the weekend of the 10/11.

Hopefully, gas prices will stay low. Love Chas's road trip idea. It would be a great mid-winter(January) trip. I think logistically, that would be a leave late Thursday night to be back home by Sunday night. The south is supposed to warmer than these here northern parts, right? I mean hell, the Raiders aren't playing for anything after this weekend anyway. Gonna have to let the checking account recover from the holidays though.

Seven golfers enjoyed some winter fun last evening during the shortest
(and so far coldest) WFL match of the year. The format was 2 Mulligans.
Paul continued his December WFL dominance shooting a 49 and beating the
next closest person by 8 strokes. Only two more WFL matches remaining
for December!

Paul - 2
Jaysus - 1
Matt J - 1
Mike - 1
J.R. -1

First off , Merry Xmas to all those who can read this posting .
I have been working alot and have not had a chance to be out to play
or see many of you lately but all the same .

Also , if none of you have been to akron lately there are changes
abound . NOT only have a few of us ( and I mean very few ) been
digging and plugging new baskets in , the boro gave us a Christmas
present in the clearing of most of the new fairways .
There is still lots of work to be done and this letter is to ask
those who are forturnate enough to have some time off between
Christmas and New years ( specifically the saturday after
Christmas , Dec 27th ) to donate some time to help digging and
working at Akron park from 9 am till 1 pm .
PLEASE come out and help us and come look at what has been
accomplished so far .

As far as the NEW years day tourney .
12 noon is the start
It is bring your own partner doubles
2 division AM and PRO but if you play AM and would have cashed in
open then you forfit your prizes .
Price is $25 a team plus a $5 mulligan fee where you and your
partner get one mulligan each . So $30 a team is probably what you
need to play and get all the goodies .
This is a doubles tourney and if you come without a partner you will
be paired up , but if you play by yourself and pay the $25 you will
get one mulligan per hole .

The layout will be 18 holes and use any new baskets that are
planted . It will be a modified US OPEN LAYOUT .
Tee pads will be long unless lots of snow on the ground then short
tee pads will be played .

I like Pauls configuration! Haven't played Senaca in the new layout,
Yes Earl Patapsco is the "Punisher" but thats only went everything is
in long pins. Still very challenging course! Never played Druid

Maybe the 3rd leg is the major road trip down south?

UMMMMMMMM, think we found our driver!!!?:) I'm Down for the 2nd leg
of the Trifecta, pissed I missed the first one.

I like Pauls configuration! Haven't played Senaca in the new layout,
Yes Earl Patapsco is the "Punisher" but thats only went everything is
in long pins. Still very challenging course! Never played Druid

Maybe the 3rd leg is the major road trip down south?

Greetings all,

      I hope this post finds you all well and in good spirits. Time is
running short, Christmas will be here and gone and the little Crawdads
and Llamas, having grown tired of the useless items that Santa had
unloaded on them, are ready for a full day of plastic flingin' fun.
This saturday 12/27 will begin with tags at 10am followed by the start
of the feasting, some Ript fun, then some more food, and we will end
the day with some night tossin' (torches will be put out, dusk starts
@ 530.) There will be a lot of food & drink available at the Lounge,
but please bring something for the group and maybe a chair or two if
you will be attending. A rough head count would be mighty helpful.
Activities planned for the party will make this a long day at
Creekside, so plan accordingly.

The menu, from what I've been told, includes:
Course Mom/Crawdaddy/Coach: Chili(not to rival highway chili, but its
a try), spinach dip, hot artichoke dip, 2x baked potatoes, macaroni
salad, cheese ball, Lil' Smokies, meatless(veggie) taco salad dip,
relish tray, Creekside christmas cookies, beverages;
OD: Swedish meatballs, beverage fund;
Matt/Stacy: Bourbon Chicken?;
Ross: Veggie something?, beverage fund;
Jay/Ella Williams: Veggie something?, a pin (or larger vessel) of
something freshly brewed;
Beam: Chowda???;

  All Crawdads and Llamas and their families are invited to come hang
out to the Crawdad Lounge, challenge yourself on the course,
smack-talk and be merry. If attending PLEASE post, or email me
directly: r8rfn1 @ yahoo . com. Hopefully we can pull some of the
long lost herd back together for a little family-friendly-flingin' for
a day. We will be here all day, so if you're running behind, show up
when you can.

Peace and good tossin',
Crawdaddy

I hear a trifecta road trip in the near future. Maybe we(those who want/can) make it a early start. Head south to Seneca and work our way north? Nothing is currently on the schedule for March, other than Kallans Memorial on Mar 21. Ice bowl season will be over and the days will be getting longer. Just a suggestion, still open for others!

Peace and good tossin',
Crawdaddy
