Thanks Jason. And thank all you guys and gals. I really appreciate
the fact that YOU appreciate what is happening around these parts. I
am supremely honored to hear of this nomination. And while I can't
even hold a candle to some of the other nominee's and their
contributions to the sport, I am very proud to be considered in their
company.
I just need to clarify that it was Ken Lemkelde, Don Dillon and Jason
Munns in cooperation with the KSG and the Park Manager, Mr. Bill
Roosevear who are responsible for bringing the Keystone State Games to
Gifford Pinchot. I had nothing to do with it other than providing some
minor support to the TD, Mr. Munns.
Anyways, it is very nice to see so many of you improving your disc
skills and bringing more of your friends out to experience this great
pasttime. I hope soon to have time to play many rounds with each and
every one of you. Thanks for your friendship and good spirits - you're
the salt of the earth.
CU Sunday at Llamapalooza! : )
Check this out. Our very own Paul Wojcik being honored for his
dedication to the new course (locally) and the sport (globally).
Love him, hate him, or just wish you could run a chainsaw like him, be
sure to thank him for building YOU a new course to test your skills.

Just a reminder, and for those that didn't know. Whispering Falls Grand Opening Tournament @Whispering Falls disc golf course, in Greencastle, PA August 12th register 8am-9am; players meeting 9:15am First round tee @ 9:30am 2 rounds of golf (long pins first round/short pins second round) Lunch Provided!! We'll have CTP prizes for all divisions, and a Ring of Fire.
BIG THANKS to Jonathan and Munnsy for chipping in today. These guys
don't need an invitation or a free lunch. They know that a little
sweat equity in their new course will pay many dividends in the long
run.
Roughly a year ago, an unnamed person joined the club. Shortly
thereafter, I remember playing a round with Phil when neither of us
knew him, and I remember Phil saying, he's from (wherever in)Virginia,
"they've got game down there". "We're just starting to get some game
up here"
I was thinking of this today and realized how much Paul truly
contributes to the sport locally. I know he has taken a few strokes
off my game, and if you've played a few rounds with him, you're
probably in the same boat. He has almost single handedly built a
course across the lake (no offense G, Bob, George, and all others that
have contributed)and is a tremendous asset to disc golf in central PA.
Even though I can't even begin to describe his efforts, I recognize
them and more importantly have tremendous RESPECT for him and his efforts.
Given this, don't you think its about time we all get off our arses
and put a few hours in?
There is one week left until llamapalooza and we'd like to introduce
at least a portion of the new course to the rest of the disc golf
community. The time is NOW.
Think globally, and act locally.
Congradulations to all our famous medalists! I will be at TNT to have a Lama disc signed by all medalists. Super job,Paul,Craig(poser),Jonathan,Ralph, and Old Dics!
Be Llama PROUD !!!!!

Congrats, Bob! See you in Intermediate next year.
Many thanks to the countless hours put in on the course. It looked great1
Joe
Big thanks to Gerry and George for sacrificing some of their time today
to help work on the course. These two guys will have PLENTY of time to
play golf when the course is done and they know that. Respect.
I'm nursing an injury, but IF I make it out tomorrow, look out for a
CTP (or 2) during the tag round. I know tonight was the crawdad-a-thon
so numbers are likely to be low.
I'm more hour by hour than day to day, so it comes down to how I feel
in the morning.
Hope to see you there. I'll have the inventory available if I show.
There's a better chance I'll be there if its raining.

As the back-up TD...I think that Jason was going to sing the
National Anthem and do to budget constraints he was provided a
blonde wig and a mini skirt. Sorry I missed that Kodak moment!

Sean (or Shawn) Mannat and Lexi were just on Channel 21 (cable 2 for you young kids). Tossing discs at the 9 basket. Should be back on at 11 or you can go see it on line at http://www.whptv.com/content/bios/JamieFettrow.aspx - go to the recent reports in a couple of days ....
Don Dillon is supposedly going to use his wry humor in an attempt to seduce Jaime on Thursday. You can see how well he does. Quite a challenge for Don, as she is 6 feet tall and rather well educated. Same bat times, same bat channels. His report should be in the same place.
Paul is correct... the new Bulletin Board / Storage shed will
incorporate a lost disc slot....
As well as an enclosed bulletin board, an open bulletin board, a
sign-in book, a scorecard box, and enough storage for weed trimmers,
shovels, rakes, wheelbarrow, limb trimmers, etc...
Naturally, the stored tools will be OUR responsibility to provide...
Hopefully this pre-cut, ready-to-assemble project is in the works at
the park....

Is there an opportunity to incorporate a lost and found box into the
planned Bulletin Board / Storage Shed project that is in the works?
I am looking forward to checking out the new tee signs as well!

If you need any Max weight Glo Champion Aviars we gottem! Also
Champion T-Rex-X in various weights and colors, Max weight Champ Glo
Firebirds, and various weight Champ Glo Sidewinders...Candyman
IMO, the signs are a welcome addition to the ever-improving course.
However, I don't think the teeSIGN on #14 faces the fairway at all. It
simply needs unscrewed and re-attached on the adjacent side of the
teePOST.... but a digging bar, shovel and post-hole digger for an
hour can be fun too.
