We did the first round of tags while you had your hands full of willing new participants in the 1st ever Pinchot/Boulder Woods disc golf clinic. The results were listed on the 1st page of the little tablet you had. I don't recall all of the scores though. :o)

Jeff

I don't think anyone played a second round G. I could be wrong.
In the first round, I shot a 60 and went from #8 to #10 then fell apart in the second by the score already posted. Shaun shot a PB 76 in the first and a 78 the second. He started with tag #21 and ended up #36 in the first then 31 in the second.
Peace brother,
Jeff

Are there any other scores to be posted from the first round, or was this the only tag round from Saturday?

I defended the #5 in the first round with a 58....... not sure what everybody else had.

Bomb Eberly #34 66 #24

Good shooting Elsteveo.
No Aces were thrown even though there was $102 on the line. $50
becomes a back-up acepot and the Acepot will start at $52 on
Tuesday. If it tops $100 again without an ace, the club will receive
a $50 donation. There is now $50 designated for a tournament acepot
as well as a backup $50 for the tag acepot in the event of someone
winning it with a hole-in-one.
This Tuesday the club will be putting up a CTP prize on one of the
holes, so be sure to make it out.
Thanks to all who made this a success. As I've said before, this is
an awesome club that I'm proud to be a part of. So many people
willing to pitch in and help with anything and everything, without the
in-fighting that so many other groups (not just disc golfers) have to
put up with is almost unheard of. Sorry I couldn't enjoy the experience.

Mr. Charron was almost finished with his beautiful stairway when
fatigue may have caused his pinky finger to slip between two large
boulders as they were being quickly drawn together by the force of
gravity.
When you feast your eyes on the wonderful creation leading you down
into the #14 fairway, you will KNOW that it was well worth the pain and
the possible loss of part of his hoof. So please be sure and show your
appreciation for his creation when you get the chance.
Thanks Steve!
Thanks to all the helpers at today's clinic. Depite a small turnout,
the event was a big success. Bomb Eberly came through, yet again, with
some unexpected refreshments and the Manatt's and Hamilton's took over
the scoring and distributing of the tags for the Tag rounds.
There were putting and accuracy competitions as well as a distance
competition. (It is nice to know that I can still approach 400' - even
though some observers claim that it skipped 150'!) ; )
The clinic participants learned many new things and had some fun.
Some are even planning on joining us this Tuesday evening.
Thanks also to Ms. Beth Kepley, Naturalist, for arranging the clinic
and advertising it on the park's newsletter. There are already plans
to do this again in the Fall - so stay tuned for updates concerning the
Fall "Swamp Meet & Clinic."
For those of you not in-the-know, the club disc guru (Munnsy) will not
be present for the Swamp Meet and so I am looking for a couple good
Llamas to hold down the inventory and answer disc-related questions.
This may prove to be very light duty depending on the turnout.
A couple of volunteers for the CTP and Ring of Fire would be
helpful. The putting station may also need a helper. Again, the
format is flexible and will try to maximize the experience for the
number of participants. Thus, the amount of volunteer help required
will be based on the turnout and subject to change.
Thanks for all the help in advance. I'm sure all of us volunteers
will gain something from the experience.
I plan on arriving when the gates open to set up and warm up. Anyone
planning on volunteering, please show up by 10am as if you were playing
the first tag round of the day.
The Acepot (optional $1) will be on the line for the day (10am &
12noon), starting at $93!
I'm heading out around noon so there's time for two or three hours of practice on the new College Lodge layout. I can also vouch that you can't miss the park. You'll be driving through the middle of nowhere and at a low spot (just where you'd expect a creek), you'll seen huge yellow-lettered signs that declare Yellow Creek State Park. In case you get lost, take comfort that everyone around there sounds like Jimmy Stewart. He grew up in Indiana. So people just naturally sound friendly and slightly baffled. ;)

Jeff, Paul, myself and probably a few others are all going down Friday morning time...... As for the camping grounds, the directions to the course take you right past the camp site (Yellow Creek) and there are plenty of signs for the camping cottages. The camp site is about 30 minutes from the course...... Although I am sure that there will be several others heading down after work Friday as well........

The first Disc Golf
Monthly featuring coverage of Virginia
golf is now available On Demand with Comcast.
This show features coverage from the 4th annual VTI being held this year at the
Grange due to heavy flooding at Hawk Hollow. The VTI was a match play
tournament which came down to a sudden death playoff between armature division
players Tom Edwards from team Seneca and Jeremy Bond from team RADL.
Coming up next month will be coverage from the 30th annual Philadelphia Open at
Philadelphia’s Sedgley Woods course in EastFairmountPark.
This upcoming weekend look to see me at the Seneca Soiree as I will be covering
this tournament for the July edition of Disc Golf Monthly
Currently Disc Golf
Monthly is available on Comcast Cable systems in NJ, DE, MD, Easter and Central
PA, and non-former Adelphia comcast systems in Virginia. By years end all of Virginia will have it.
Good news for former Suscom subscribers in the York, PA
area. It is now available in select locations.
To see if you have it go to, On Demand channel (channel 1)

Hey Jeff- got room for another? I took off work on Friday and I'd love
to get as many practice rounds in as possible.
Or is there a place we can meet and I can follow you guys? Doesn't
matter to me, just let me know.
You can email me if you want.

Also Paul- I haven't been duckin' you or forgot about you. There was
some MAJOR miscommunication on my end, and all will be made right. I
promise you'll have the green!
What's the info for lodging? Beds? Sleeping bags? Electric? And is
everybody pretty much taking a cooler for their own grub and
refreshments? I know nothing!

I don't know how many are going up with us when we leave, but we (the crawdad crew) are heading out @ 10am friday morning to check in before getting a couple rounds in.
Peace and good tossin',

I'm looking for someone to ride with to PA States next Friday. I get off work at 5pm and can meet someone in York or another location along the way around 6pm. Please let me know because it's nice to have a second pair of eyes looking for road signs. Also I don't know where the lodging is located. If anyone can provide the details that would be great! My cell is 717-476-0044 or just post here.

Thanks Beam for mentioning this... I intended to put something in the
other posting but missed it.....
Every (and I do mean every) effort will be made to make the
course 'better than usual' for the Boulder Bash.... We have every
intention to work around that event, expecting that most of the
TeePads will be completed by Wednesday the 30th...
We only wish the best for the BWCC events.... We did not overlook
it... I simply missed mentioning it in my previous posting....
And, YES, we would appreciate all efforts that can be directed our way
during this push....
