Type of plastic and condition arent really that important to me. It
will only be used as a practice putter. Unfortunately I dont really
have much spare plastic laying around to trade as I have given most
of it to people I have tried to get interested in the sport. Maybe
Ill just have to wait until the ***OFFICIAL*** swamp meet to find a
good match. I'd also be willing to buy up some unwanted Ryno's at the
meet if the price was right.

I have a brand new Star Rhyno, you didn't specify what plastic you're
looking for.
Do you have anything to swamp besides an Aviar? They are of no use to
me...

Craig,
I was just looking for my Ryno, but I could not find it. I must
have given it to by nephew last summer because he had just started
playing and only had a handfull of discs. Sorry, maybe someone else
could trade you.

Mr. Brad Lescalleet is officially IN for States. The BWCC's 10-person
roster is now full. Any other interested individuals can register,
individually, beginning on March 11th @ pfds.org ;)
Did I say we raised $325?...................................... with
the added donations coming in and the $$ the club has agreed to kick
in, the total monetary donation for Ice Bowl 2007 now stands at
$650!! Way to go everyone!!
Special thanks are in order for the following individuals who grabbed
some of the reigns to keep this tournament on course: Bob "Olddisc"
Eberly - every club should be so lucky to have a member like Bob, he
can do it all...... Gerald "Mr. President" Ford III - knows his way
around a computer and keeps a level head in a crisis...... Craig "C"
Beam - the "C" could be for computer or cookoff, whether on the web
or in the kitchen, this guy really puts it together......Jason "don't
call me William" Munns - this man can literally convince a disc that
it is subservient to his will.... he may be using hypnosis on
potential customers as well, so beware!! : )
Not to be forgotten are the always helpful spirits of Jeff Manatt,
Steve Charron, James McBride, Matt Hamilton, Brad Lescalleet, Eric
Brennan and Donnie Eck. This Ice Bowl could not have been the
success that it was without people like these.
This Ice Bowl also could not have been such a success without, let's
face it, the amazing culinary delights prepared by our clubmembers.
Thanks to Ms. Tammy, C, Olddisc, and anyone else who helped feed
those who were trying to help feed those who aren't able to feed
themselves adequately.
Thanks also are due to "Coach", Lexi, and Tyler for doing their part
for charity - it's a great thing for kids to be involved with. : )
C yews gize tunite. Don't forget your $1's for the Optional Acepot.
Unless someone comes up with an alternative plan that the majority of
the club likes, we will treat the acepot the same as the past couple
years.
It will build until it reaches $100. Then we set aside $50 for
the "backup acepot." Starting again with $50+, it rolls until it tops
$100 again. If no one has thrown an ace still, then $50 is put into
the Basket Fund (helping to fund the new course and all its expenses).
Then we continue with $50+ until someone hits an ace or it tops $100
again.
This should not be confused with our Tournament Acepot which builds
only at Tournaments and stands now at $50.
Hopefully, no one will throw an ace all year and the Basket Fund
receives several $50 donations! : )
ditto

Three cottages have been reserved for the BWCC and the Creekside
Crawdads competing in PA States. They are ours for the nights of
Friday May 4th and Saturday May 5th. The total for three cottages for
two nights is $198. With 15 persons, that works out to $13.20 each. I
have forwarded a shortcut to the concerned parties if they wish to
check out the details. I didn't have an e-mail handy for a couple on
the list, so if you've any questions, ask me in person.

Looking back to my stats from last year, i purchased my tag on a
sunday, on april 2nd. If my memory serves me right, i bought tag 27,
and went home with tag 27 for the next few weeks. AH, those were the
days, when all i had were three disks, all DX plastic, and nothing but
a beat up book bag to troll them around with.
It looks like a great tag season is brewing, with 25 tags already
sold. and (ahem) i'm defending the 6 tag......to the death.
no, seriously, i'll murder someone on the back nine.
looks like my training is paying off.
yet, there is a gap for my 2007 tourney schedule in april.
Ironwood (pittsburgh), Seneca soiree (Md) or philly open? (mars)
im leaning on pittsburgh only because i know the courses....
anyways....lunch break is over....

I've been painting for the last week. Sounds like I missed a great

We enjoyed the company of 39 participants yesterday. The sunny weather
was nice, but not enough to melt the sheet of ice plaguing the first
round. More than a few discs slid onto the lake from holes 7 and 11
creating much fun!
39 Participants x $25 = $ 975
Player Packages - $390 = $ 585
Am Prizes - $330 = $ 255
Pro $$ - $180 = $ 75
Cash Donations @ entry + $ 50 = $ 125
Checks + $ 50 = $ 175
Donation Jar + $100 = $ 275
CTP/Ring of Fire + $ 50 = $ 325
Total Donation: $325 + >100lbs. canned goods!
I had a great time at B.W.C.C.'s best Ice Bowl ever, yesterday!!
Thanks to all who helped prepare the course for play and the devoted
workers who ran the event. A special thanks goes out to all players
attending the tournament. Thanks for driving the distances that some
drove to help make our Ice Bowl a huge success. The local food bank
appreciates the contributions.
The lowlight of my playing adventure was when I found that my second
shot on hole 11 had slid the whole way down to the edge of the lake!!
To cry or laugh? Hmmm.
I'll be spending my Llama $$$ soon. Thank you very much.
Old Disc Bob
Thanks for a great time everyone!!! Great food and good times!! I took home some extra discs with my Llama $. :)

Congrats to the Donniellama m($100 winner) and all the other chosen
ones. The Winter Fun League was Fun..................... now let's
get our tag on!!
I heard that 24 tags were snatched up at the Ice Bowl! Souper! : )
The new tags will be available at the Ice Bowl and forward. They are
$15. Official Tag meetings shall be held on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Tuesday start times will be posted and shall change with daylight
savings, etc. Saturday times shall remain the same as they were for
Sundays - 10am and Noon.
Of course any two tagholders can hold a tag round anywhere in the
universe at anytime. Only scores from the official meeting times will
be recorded and figured into player averages/handicaps. Basicall any
rounds at Boulder Woods will count. If you cannot make either of the
meeting times for a week and wish to meet up with another clubmember
for a tag round at a mutually beneficial time, simply post your scores
on the message board so that the club's statistician can enter the data
into the superwonderful program that he wrote himself. These
scores/averages may be used at the Tag Finale to determine divisions.
Sundays will be casual play/workdays on the new course until it is
ready for tournament play. As always, the BWCC encourages all who play
the Rec course to pick up any litter they discover it and to remove any
dead branches and debris from the fairways as they play.
Seven golfers in search of fun came out for the last WFL event of the
year. "Wolf" was the format selected and both Phil and Mr. Beam
managed to earn the most points through feats of skill and strategy.
Thu. 2/22 Wolf 7 ļ (233)
Phil Denhardt 2/5
Craig Beam 2/22
Micah Sullivan 1/3
Bob Eberly 1/17
Jeff Ross 1/27
Jay Williams 1/20
Paul Wojcik 1/32
I will not be able to make the Ice Bowl this year unfortunately. If I
happen to win anything with my 1 point (I doubt it), I would like to
donate what ever I win to a random person who has put in his/her time
at the new course. I hope everyone has a blast tomorrow!
