Thanks to everyone who came out and helped work on the course this
past Sunday. Craig Beam, Ralph Kiner, Dave Brown, Derek Kline, Ken
Kuduk, Jeff Turley and myself made some headway on the trench on the
first three fairways and on the teeboxes on the south side of the road.
We layed out, and Beam plotted, with a GPS unit, seven holes. I
rewalked the area today and I believe we can definitely fit nine holes
in the area that we've been ok'd to use.
Ken Lemkelde and I worked on hole 16 today (Monday) and seem to
have a pretty good handle on what needs to be done to dry it out.
With some manpower like we've seen in the recent past, this should not
be a problem at all. We can save these fairways.
I can't schedule myself for a workday this weekend yet as I
haven't decided which tourney I'm attending. The Fools in the Creek
on Sunday is most likely since it is closer and sanctioned, not to
mention a Pro Worlds course. That would make my workday on
Saturday....
At the patapsaco open on Sunday April 9, 2005 Jeff had a most
impressive ace shot on hole 12 in the second round. This was after
taking a harsh 2 stroke penalty after the first round (thanks to me not
adding his score correctley) he played a great game both rounds, and
this was just a perfect way to end it. I had a great time playing both
rounds with him in my group; even though he is a bagger Thanks alot to
everyone I played with (even the drunk guy)for making it a very
enjoyable day.

Anyone who hasn't seen the new tags can view/purchase ($10) them this
Sunday. I plan on working on the course and possibly enjoying a tag
round or two. I'm shooting for 10 am to start work. Shovel, rake,
gloves, BOOTS. I will have the tags with me and, even if you don't
wish to work on the course, will be available for disc/tag sales.
Look for the guy with the black Explorer or the guy with the shovel in
the middle of the fairway.
p.s. "C" Beam for your Personalized Tag Portrait. Or feel free to
upload one yourselves...
Welcome on board Brad we have tag rounds
on tues eve at 5. Hope you can make it out and play. We also feature an ace pot
that night.

Seen Jeff Turley at Rancho Grande last Thursday
evening and he pointed me to this group. Glad to be a part of it. For
those of you who do not know me, I'm Brad, and I usually play Sundays at
Pinchot with my friend Bob and a couple of years ago I made a
video about Disc Golf at Pinchot. I've got video thoughts about Codorus,
but haven't moved forward with them as of yet.

Thanks for getting me here Jeff.

Personals
dave mike and i went out to pinchot on wednesday for 2 rounds... the
first round there was no tag changes.. However... in the second
round i took the #2 tag from dave. Planning on coming to pinchot
again on thurday if there are any takers.... remember that i said
might be there!
Beer Tag!!?? I'm sure I can hit enough trees if I TRY to lose the #8
tag! It will all be worth it when I defend it next Tuesday and I
receive my free beverage of choice from the Silver Lake Inn courtesy
of the BWCC!! I will be out Thursday eve. from 4:30/5:00 on...
Oh, by the way, if you haven't noticed, Clint is handling the discs
for the Patapsco Open this Saturday, so Ams get disc of choice. Check
out md-discgolf link for more info. Or, check the flyer on the MADC
schedule for entry fees, etc. Both links are on this website.
Need to be there by 8:30, thus the bus leaves Yale Avenue by 7am.
Stop-offs along Rt. 83 South for pick-ups are welcome and encouraged.
Roof rack can accomodate four golfers uncomfortably. :)
Any one up for playing tomorrow let me know, I have the whole day off
and want to spend it playing disc golf even if anyone is interested in
tomorrow eavning it will save me from driving to druid hill for
thursday night tripples so e-mail me or just post somthing and let me
know
MATT
p.s. great job on the site guy's very impressive
Looks like someone needs to knock Gump off his perch... How did he get
three #1 tags?
Perhaps we need to send Bob down to Druid one of these days to "take
care of some business".
Wow! Aaron, Gerry, Ralph and I ran into three other PA folk down
there. What a contingent! Phil, Donnie, & Matt braved the wind along
with us. Pizza and beverages included! No rain until after the
tourney, the course was in great shape. A very windy day reeked havoc
on our putts. Ralph and Gerry battled it out for two rounds only to
end up in a tie for fourth place in intermediate. Ralph also ended up
winning a PDGA membership! Aaron had fun driving us there and back.
Matt and Donnie had so much fun that Ralph, me, Donnie and Matt met
Dave B. and played Pinchot after driving up from the zoo. Phil had
the top score of us all but just missed cashing in the Open division.
I survived a three hole playoff in Adv.
Finalizing the year's tag format at Tuesday's meeting. Bring your
ideas.
I see. No matter, for it will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.

I think Beam was to have randomly selected the Board's initial tag
rankings for fairness. The remaining tags (10-30...) are to be sold
in order. The format for the tag season and finale will be up for
discussion and decided at this Tuesday's meeting. Some of the
remaining taags(10-30...) may be sold before that time.
So, you get whatever number is by your name on the homepage. #2 and
#3 will be in attendance, but not #1, not yet. :( One of the tags
has a hidden marking or something that will make the tagholder
eligible for a special prize at the finale. :)
Bring one to Druid for me. Try and bring the #1 as well, so I can win
it :).

Yo G! Do you want to post the flyer that you made on the site here?
And how about some flyers to advertise the website at the area
courses? Something simple. I'm sure you and Beam can come up with a
couple.
