I was about to pack it up and roll when Big Arm Kuduk shows up with Jeff Manatt(sp?). Joined by another local(?) I figured I could handle a little more. Besides, I still had about 12 discs I could throw into the creek. Plus I hoped to pick up some pointers from The Champ, Mr. Big Arm.
After an amazing eagle eye spot from Jeff; The Champ, being the gentlemen that he is, pulled my hot pink Roadrunner from it's sure to be watery grave.
And of course to show my appreciation I proceeded to roll a Predator around the mando tree on #7 straight into the creek, full speed when it hit. I never loved her anyway.
But Kuduk, being The Champ and all, couldn't let me show him up, and decided to throw a Storm(?) straight at the creek. Never gave it a chance to break. Our local host couldn't let these boys make him look like less of a man. Jeff steps up to #2 and throws the straightest Eagle I have ever seen. No brush, no trees, no grass or dirt. Just splash down.
The crawdads are having a party tonight.
I had Kuduk by one going into the last hole and he gave me the whammy. And I quote, "If you go inot the backyards over there, that's ob."
After that kind of hex, I couldn't help it. But just to show him I meant business, I went into TWO different backyards, to end the round with a double circle 6.
That's right sports fans, from first to third just like that. Damn that Big Arm. And he wanted to play for tags...hah!
Thanks for the hospitality and the tour Jeff. The course is looking good and is definitley fun. I will be back to offer more plastic to the water gods and crawdads. Someday I'll learn to throw a disc...
