Hi running friends,
Unfortunately, mother nature is not cooperating with us and it is just too
miserable out to have our group run tonight. Of course, if you are brave, feel
free to run on your own! We'll be moving the post-run social to next week as
well.

We hope to see you next week (and hope for better weather)!

Regards,
Annie

Hello running friends,
Just a friendly reminder to join us on the
river this Wednesday evening for our weekly run! We'll head out from
the corner of Mass Ave and Memorial Drive at 6:30pm. They're
predicting thunderstorms as a possibility on Wednesday, so as a reminder,
we run in rain but thunderstorms cancel. We'll post a notice to the
email board by 4:30pm if the run is canceled.

Also, since this
is the first Wednesday of the month, we'll be heading out for some food
and drinks afterward. This month we'll be heading to Bhindi Bazaar for
some yummy Indian food.

Even if you can't make the run, feel free to join us after! Hope to see you
Wednesday!

Regards,
Annie

Hi everyone,

I am still waiting to hear from Paulie the exact hours that he needs us
on the 28th, but please confirm who can be there. We promised him 5 to
6 women per race and it seems like we have far fewer than that. This
would be a serious problem. I know that Allison and Julia were not on
the team when we made the decision and that Alex had mentioned her
brother's graduation, but it seemed that we agreed as a team to go ahead
with this. I will be in touch with Katrina to see if she can do it, but
I think that some people may need to find people who can fill in for them.

Thanks,
Kelli

Hi runners,
Local shoe giant New Balance is looking for runners to help them test out new shoes. See below for info and feel free to pass on to your male running friends!

-Annie

The recently completed New Balance Sports Research Lab in Lawrence, MA is
looking for runners! Check out a short segment done on our lab by WBZTV (
http://wbztv.com/bostonmarathon/boston. ... 84934.html). We are constantly
doing research and product testing related to running, but in order to do
this research and testing we need athletes! A typical trip would involve
about an hour in our Sports Research Lab with our trained experts using our
state of the art equipment. As compensation, we will let you keep a pair of
awesome New Balance running shoes. We are especially interested in men who
are size 9.5 because this is the size we create prototype shoes in. We are
also very interested in women who are a size 7. If you are not that size,
don't worry because we often do other studies and testing where we are
looking for other sizes. If you would like to help us out, see a research
lab unlike any other, and get a new pair of the finest running shoes around
, email us!

Just send us a quick email with your name and contact information to
sportsresearch@.... Also include your age, shoe size and
activity level! That's it! We look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks.

We will be taking a break from the weekly runs on April 15 for a great event for
two great charities. LUNAFEST is an annual film festival with films by, for and
about women. This year we will be watching these films in style at the Hard Rock
Cafe. Tickets include a pre-screening reception. The event will also include a
silent auction and raffle to benefit the Breast Cancer Fund and the EllieFund.
For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit

For those of you on Facebook, we've created a BOSTON LUNA CHIX RUNNING TEAM

One final message about brunch tomorrow...

Brunch IS ON regardless of the weather. We can decide about running when people
get here, but we all should eat some yummy food anyway. :) /C

Hi--
I'm glad to have heard from people planning to attend brunch next Sunday, March 1st.

I want to remind everyone March 1st will be here soon. Yeah!

~~~~~
Hello Ladies--
Fun was had at the Luna Chix Run Brunch Jan 25th hosted by Annie and I hope you are ready for some more. I am writing to invite you to the next brunch (to be preceded by some running) which I will be hosting in Belmont, Sunday, March 1st at 10:30 am.
I live less than 2 miles from the Charles River path at Watertown Square. It is an easy bus ride here. Routes of various lengths will be mapped out according to terrain conditions that week so you'll have choices of where to run. This is a fun way to keep in touch and keep active during the winter until our weekly Wed. runs around the Charles starting at the Harvard Bridge (near MIT) begin again in April.
Friends and brunch items are welcome. If you're interested and would like more details, email me at ccchurchwell@yahoo.com.
Looking forward to seeing you.
Cheers,
Cynthia
Hi--
I'm glad to have heard from people planning to attend brunch next Sunday, March
1st.
I want to remind everyone March 1st will be here soon.   Yeah!
~~~~~
Hello Ladies--
Fun was had at the Luna Chix Run Brunch Jan 25th hosted by Annie and I hope you
are ready for some more. I am writing to invite you to the next brunch (to be
preceded by some running) which I will be hosting in Belmont, Sunday, March 1st
at 10:30 am.

I live less than 2 miles from the Charles River path at Watertown Square. It is
an easy bus ride here. Routes of various lengths will be mapped out according
to terrain conditions that week so you'll have choices of where to run. This is
a fun way to keep in touch and keep active during the winter until our weekly
Wed. runs around the Charles starting at the Harvard Bridge (near MIT) begin
again in April.

Friends and brunch items are welcome. If you're interested and would like more
details, email me at ccchurchwell@....

Looking forward to seeing you.
Cheers,
Cynthia
