Hi running friends,
Unfortunately, mother nature is not cooperating with us and it is just too
miserable out to have our group run tonight. Of course, if you are brave, feel
free to run on your own! We'll be moving the post-run social to next week as
well.
We hope to see you next week (and hope for better weather)!
Regards,
Annie

Hello running friends,
Just a friendly reminder to join us on the
river this Wednesday evening for our weekly run! We'll head out from
the corner of Mass Ave and Memorial Drive at 6:30pm. They're
predicting thunderstorms as a possibility on Wednesday, so as a reminder,
we run in rain but thunderstorms cancel. We'll post a notice to the
email board by 4:30pm if the run is canceled.
Also, since this
is the first Wednesday of the month, we'll be heading out for some food
and drinks afterward. This month we'll be heading to Bhindi Bazaar for
some yummy Indian food.
Even if you can't make the run, feel free to join us after! Hope to see you
Wednesday!
Regards,
Annie

Hi everyone,
I am still waiting to hear from Paulie the exact hours that he needs us
on the 28th, but please confirm who can be there. We promised him 5 to
6 women per race and it seems like we have far fewer than that. This
would be a serious problem. I know that Allison and Julia were not on
the team when we made the decision and that Alex had mentioned her
brother's graduation, but it seemed that we agreed as a team to go ahead
with this. I will be in touch with Katrina to see if she can do it, but
I think that some people may need to find people who can fill in for them.
Thanks,
Kelli

Local shoe giant New Balance is looking for runners to help them test out new shoes. See below for info and feel free to pass on to your male running friends!
-Annie
The recently completed New Balance Sports Research Lab in Lawrence, MA is looking for runners! Check out a short segment done on our lab by WBZTV ( http://wbztv.com/bostonmarathon/boston. ... 84934.html). We are constantly doing research and product testing related to running, but in order to do this research and testing we need athletes! A typical trip would involve about an hour in our Sports Research Lab with our trained experts using our state of the art equipment. As compensation, we will let you keep a pair of awesome New Balance running shoes. We are especially interested in men who are size 9.5 because this is the size we create prototype shoes in. We are also very interested in women who are a size 7. If you are not that size, don't worry because we often do other studies and testing where we are looking for other sizes. If you would like to help us out, see a research lab unlike any other, and get a new pair of the finest running shoes around , email us!
Just send us a quick email with your name and contact information to sportsresearch@.... Also include your age, shoe size and activity level! That's it! We look forward to hearing from you!
Anyone interested in training for this October run? Let me know, it would be my
first, so I'm just looking for a buddy especially for the long ones. Also, any
experience would benefit me! So, respond if you're interested or email me:
JLedewitz(at)gmail.com.

Sounds like a great run! Thanks for posting about it, Linda!
Ladies, please feel free to post info on upcoming races and events. We
hope this board can help serve as resource for folks who are looking for
and folks who are hosting races.
Best,
Kelli

I'm already planning on running it. I ran this race two years ago, and it is still one my favorites - the town really came out to cheer, and to cook! I'm hoping it's as good this year.

Hi ladies,
As a reminder, our first WEDNESDAY NIGHT RUN of the
