Hi Kristi,

THeoretically, I run long on Monday or Thursday mornings, but it varies a bit
because of work & kids' schedules. This week I will hopefully do 24 miles on
Wednesday if work permits. Would love to connect for any part of it if it
works out.

Gail,

I am looking for a partner for long runs - I am around a 10 minute mile pace.  What days do you run?  I am up to 16 miles, and need to push it up to at least 20 miles before October.

Hi Julia,
I am the one who posted about weekdays.  I was on vaca last week (though I did run a 22 miler!), but  I don't think I'm fast enough to run with you anyhow--my long runs are around 10 minute pace.  Maybe someday :).

Hi,

I thought someone posted re: long runs on weekday mornings, but I can't find the post!

Anyway, my long-run partner is away this week, and I'm running 16 miles Thursday or
Friday morning, starting at 6 a.m. Does anyone want to join me, for all or part of it? I was
thinking a Charles River loop or else Mystic Lakes/Minuteman Bike Path (Arlington).

I'd run at a 9-minute pace (or just a bit faster, but not much).

Thanks,
Julia

Hi,

Our Reach the Beach time probably needs another runner (we're all recruiting
right now, as
we just lost someone due to injury).

RTB is a 200-mile relay, Friday Sept. 15-Sat. Sept. 16 (yes, you'll need to take
Friday off of
work, if you work Fridays).

Our team, Team Pancake, is a great deal of fun; most of us did it last year.
The race took
us 28 hrs last year, but we don't care about time/pace; we are more concerned
that
everyone be good-natured and easy to get along with, as so many hours together
in a van
can get a bit trying. :)

See http://www.rtbrelay.com/index.shtml for more race info, and if you can/will
do it,
contact me at jmagnus13@....

We are a mixed-gender team, BTW.

Thanks,
Julia

Hi Gail,

I've been planning to do the half marathon in Plymouth - Race to the
Rock, I believe. I think it's the same as the one you mention.

I was going to start at 8am to try and beat the warm temperatures. There was somone on Wednesday night who was looking to do a smaller loop too, I cannot remember her name though, so please post if you still want to run.

I am going to try and do a 14 miler tomorrow, starting in Cleveland Circle and around the Charles River and back.

Does anyone want to meet up or even, run a shorter loop of the course.

I will be running a relatively slow pace.

Ladies,

The weather is cooler, the sun is shining, perfect day for a run
around the Charles River. Looking forward to tonight's run.
