Hiya, wanted to add my 2 cents here..
I am a yoga instructor, and I recently (last month) got done with
my latest physical therapy stint. I shouldn't even be running with
all the issues I deal with, but hey, I can't help it, I'm an addict
=P
Core strength is essential with hip stability - whether you do it
with pilates or yoga or whatever, it's so important! I personally
have always had the weakest abdominals, but my recent rehab showed
me some ways to strengthen my core area, and I have to say, that
combined with some other stretches and exercises I've been doing for
my hips/pyriformis have really helped.
Good luck!
