Will and I had fun playing a short version of driveway Glorp
(Dog) last night with one of these – found that throwing lightly
laid out significantly reduced the range from what happens when you follow the
vertical directions. Dodging the cars made the game more challenging as did the
poor lighting J
I also threw one amidst the rocks at the top of Mount Si
when some of us hiked up there after WBC Seattle – Dan Johnson threw and
lost a real boomerang up there as well. On a bizarre note, another
hiker fell off that area the next day and died. Geez.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Subject: Re: [Boomerang_Talk] indoor rangs fun
I bought three of them while he was here (I told everybody I received
three Brazillan boomerangs in the mail), and was actually planning to review
them here. In any case, here are my observations:
1) Performance indoor: Great indoor boomerang, but requires a BIT of room. None
of the rooms in my apartment are quite big enough. Very easy to throw, nice
circular orbit. I'd say you need a minimum of 14 feet square.
2) Performance outdoor: Any wind is too much, but the throw can be adjusted for
a slight breeze.
3) Suitability for children: Although it's thin plastic, it's a BIT sharp. I
would be VERY careful with children under 8 or so, and would like them to wear
some eye protection.
4) Does it come in a left handed model
5) This boomerang would be GREAT for a corporate give-away (you know, the stuff
they give away at conventions with the corporation's logo on it?). If
left-handeds could be made, I'd recommend that the USBA look into getting a
bunch made with the USBA logo, and made available at torunaments.

He had a few left over, I purchased a good many.
The hurricane GUSTAV forced many up to my part of Louisiana. We had 4 teen male cousins one evening, tonight 3 teenage girls...they discovered who I was, and of course, I told them some basic boomerang info.
I just happen to have a large, hight ceiling living room.
The boys and the girls had a blast tossing Ricardo's 3 winger....INDOORS...as well as the tumble sticks.
The girls;s Dad just came in and told them it's time for bed...they've been throwing indoors most of the evening!:)
RICARDO...your mini flyer is a winner:) it got the boys and the girls off their cell phones and computers, time and time again:)
