Hello all!

I was wondering if there's any concensus on when the first modern
boomerang tournament was held anywhere in the world? Granted, I'm
sure for a much longer time boomerang friends would challenge
eachother to accuracy and such, but I'm talking the first open,
organized boomerang tournament.

Also, of the six standard evenets in USBA competitions, were any of
those events not in the earliest boomerang comps?
