Morri and all,

I actually did the tournament but never posted my scores. The only
event I skipped was endurance. For my boom of choice, I selected a
Chet Snouffer Wooden (very weighted) TC. I made a copy for the
doubler since I didn't buy a set from him, just the one. Anyway, it
is "reversable" like Dave mentioned. 30 meter Relay or TC.
I could post my sorry scores but it seemed to me more of an exercise
than a competition. What was learned?
1. Throwing the same boom for an hour straight gets tiresome.
2. 10 second MTA rounds are not fun to self time, or fun at all.
3. Changing tuning while trying to get all the events in within a
given time frame can be frustrating.
4. FC with a 30 meter relay boom can be a lot of work in gusty winds.

So that was my experience.
What might be better would be to try an ALL WOOD tournament. No
plastics, or composites. Just wood all the way. I venture to guess
that there will be some VERY good scores in every event.

Delaney.

Delaney, I'd be into that. How about everyone else? I've been throwing mostly wood for FC and Endurance. For all the others I will have to dig a little bit -...
