Thank you to everyone that returned the survey.  The response was outstanding.  17 out of 208 filled out the numbered questions and there were several others returned essay type responses.  And the response is even more outstanding considering that many of those 208 have never attended the event and therefore didn't respond.

Thanks again.

The conclusions I come up with are as follows:

The location will not change for next year and I have started work on some of the changes necessary to keep it there.

The biggest change is to put up a better backstop for the bullets.  The 350 yard targets (the tree line) will have a big berm and a berm will be put up at the top of the hill (about 675 yards).  For at least this year (maybe permanently) there will not be anything closer than about 340 yards.  If I can get the new magazine completed (progress IS being made) I will go with a very large percentage of 1L targets (big explosions: average response of 3.7) even at the closest range.  This will boost the price some (not important to most people).  The designated targets for each shooting position will probably go away (most people were neutral on them).  I may offer them for an extra fee.  I need to figure out how many targets and the spacing before I know if that will be possible.

I will extend the number of shooting positions to the left by a 100 feet or so.  This means the ".50 caliber ghetto" will be moved still farther to the left.

The Friday, Sunday Boomer Shoot with the Saturday Precision Rifle Clinic will continue.

I will probably do the opening fireballs again.  There probably will be a few fireballs out on the range someplace.  I'm not yet sure how I will construct them such that the gasoline doesn't get dumped before the explosive gets hit, but I'll come up with something.

I probably will have another set of targets at something in the 500 to 550 range.  If things work out I may be able to get a set of targets at a full 700 yards away.

If I can get a 'social director' volunteer I will get some sort of activity to enhance that aspect of the event.  Maybe a group dinner or breakfast in Orofino or a nice dinner on site and some shooting at some fireballs from close range.  Suggestions welcome.
