Hello All!

Can it be? Is May 3rd almost here?

Yes! The Gateway - Unaweep Fire Department Spring Dynamite Shoot is only a
few weeks away and here is your official notification that reminds you to
get ready!

Before I launch into the usual shoot information I would like to FIRST THANK
EVERYONE involved with the great success of our Fall Shoot:

Kelly Hubbard: Our Explosives Expert. If you need blasting, controlled
blasting or excavation PLEASE contact Kelly. He is the best. He can be
reached at 970-263-4322 or at kjhubbard46@... Why not send him a quick
email thanking him for his great support of this event over the years!?!?

Our Shooters: You support these efforts and our fire department. We
appreciate every one of you!

Our School and the Gateway Community Club: They keep the dinners and
breakfasts going and are such a big part of our community!

The BLM and Mesa County Sheriffs Office: Thanks for supporting our efforts.

Our Volunteers: Both Fire Department volunteers and Dynamite Shoot
volunteers. This event is a huge undertaking and takes many people hundreds
of hours to coordinate. Their efforts are desperately needed and fully
appreciated. There are too many of you to list here but you all do a great
job. I am not going to say you are tireless as you are all POOPED by the
end of the day! THANK YOU ALL!!! (OK....I'll try to name them all: Mike,
Kindra, Pat, Mike, Jan, Sylvia, Karl, Todd, Ellen, Lisa, Bob, Alison, Steve,

the shoot. PLEASE PRINT THIS OUT AND DISTRIBUTE IT LOCALLY! We are now
drawing shooters from Alabama, California, Ohio, Texas and even Grand
Junction(!). It amazes me how many local shooters do not know about this
shoot...please make it a point to spread the word! We have been steadily
increasing our attendance at recent shoots. I think this is because A) we
put on a good shoot and B) more people are learning about this event.
Please pass the word.

appreciate the money this event raises and could not run this fire
department without your assistance.
