Hi kristi,

Welll, I found out that the person actually read my note herself on the
group
web page. This group is not set up to where the owner has to approve
members,
and the archives are not restricted to only members, which means that anyone
can read our notes on yahoo without actually joining the group. I had
forgotten
about that. It's one reason that we sometimes get spam mail on this group.
The group also has 77, yes that's 77, bouncing members, and several
'members'
who are likely actually spammers, though there hasn't been much spam lately.

Yes, most of the information is public, but I should have taken her name off
of
the message. That was what I did wrong really, not passing the information
along.

>Do you go to Vegas each year? I have this feeling I know who you are by

I've been to the Vegas show one time, and that was in 1999. I met Brian and
his
dad that weekend, though it wasn't the first time I had met either of them!
I rode
in an elevator at Landove with Linda Leaver and both of Brian's parents
once! LOL,
my friend's aunt said that we could have Brian and she would take his dad!
She said
that in 1999 when we met the two of them in one of the hallways at the
Mandalay
Bay Hotel after the show that night. Anyway,
that was the year that John Tesh did the show (dang that man is TALL!), and
it's
also the also the last time I saw any skating show live (though I went to
several
shows and competitions in 1995 and 1996). I miss it, but I haven't been
able to afford it, and since I am now unemployed, I don't see it happening
again
any time soon, unfortunately! But you may have seen me there or at some
other
event, though it *has* been a while!

Hi Gail!

I'm sorry that this happened to you.  IMO, it's rather silly and childish to "tattletale" like that.  But, to each his own I guess.  Besides, most of the information you send is public is it not?  And I know for myself, I have already either read it somewhere else or have the information from Brian himself from his newletter.  And when you do pass on new information, it's always for a public event which will be broadcast anyway.  I don't think you did anything wrong.

Do you go to Vegas each year?  I have this feeling I know who you are by face and not by name.  I've gone to each spectacular that he's done in Vegas, so if you're there, I know I've seen you.

Talk to you soon!

Unless she is using a totally different name, and I don't believe

Like I said, while I was remiss in sending the message on like I did,

I guess I"m going to have to just stop replying to this group.  I don't understand these messages, and what this 'not displayable format' BS is.  I either go directly through yahoogroups, or answer from my e-mail program.  There's no special program used or html added , or anything.  I don't get it.

The last time Brian skated with Katarina was in Skating Romance II, I think.  That was back around 1996 or so?  She hasn't done his holiday show, has she?  He has skated in the same show with her since (like the Sergei tribute show, for example), and a few competitions, but I'm pretty sure that was the last time they skated as a 'pair' in a show.

They are great together, but to my knowledge there are no announced plans for them to skate together again.  That doesn't mean that they won't, though.  She does a show every year also, and I keep hoping that one or the other (or both, if we're lucky!) will feature the other one in their show.

Hi everyone!

I'm so glad that I joined this group because Brian Boitano is my
favorite male skater. I know years ago Brian skated together with
Katarina Witt [she's my favorite ladies skater]. Does anyone know if
Brian and Katarina ever plan to skate together again? I know he skates
with Kristi Yamaguchi in his holiday specials, but in my opinion it's
not like watching him skate with Katarina.

I must have done something wrong. At the end, it tells me I am 35, but I just turned 32 last Thursday. I based this off of the idea that I wanted chocolate 9 times a week, which is actually  Less chocolate than I really want in a week. So I tried a smaller number concerning the amount of chocolate, and it came to me being the age of 55.

Your Age By Chocolate Math

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!

It takes less than a minute....... Work this out as you read.. Be  sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!  This is  not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like  to have chocolate. (more than once but less than 10)

 2. Multiply this number by 2 (Just to be bold)

 3. Add 5. (for Sunday)

4.. Multiply it by 50 I'll wait while you get the  calculator.................

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1755.... If you haven't, add 1754 .....

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number (i.e., how many  times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are ........  YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2005) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND  WHILE IT LASTS.

You're welcome.

Here's the link:  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/boitano/ .  Hopefully that will work!  Yes, it is a yahoo group!  I've only been a member of this particular group for a few months, but it seems like there's a pretty good group of people on the list.  I understand that they had some problems a while back, and they were just getting them all cleared up when I joined.  There's a few pictures posted, and most of the members seem to be loyal fans.

This is a still from the movie. I've seen the clips and his hair is
blonde. The lighting is weird in his picture but it's blonde, not
orange.

LOL.  Looks like the make-up people made him wear lipstick.

I also have a list of songs that I think Brian would be great

So do I.  I'm sure a lot of people do :-)

Well, I wish he'd stop skating to the music he's been skating to lately.  The last decent music he skated to, IMO, was "Shenandoah/They Call the Wind Mariah".  I haven't cared for his musical choices of late.  I wish Franc D'Ambrosio had put that on his CD.
