I don't think Gene Kelly roller skates in 'The Pirate'. That's a movie from
the heyday of movie musicals, I think maybe the 1950s. I'd have to check
the date. He did roller skate in 'Xanadu' with Olivia Newton John, but he
was older then because it was sometime in the 1980's, I think. He may have
roller skated other times too.

I saw most of Dorothy's stuff in the old days, so I probably saw Gene Kelly
skating with her.
