Oh I'm sure they've been practically begging. He's the only skater who has done every Ice Wars, and despite being 43 years old, he's by far the most dependable. He's had a few mistakes here and there, but still he's the most dependable skater and certainly one of the most popular.
On a side note, remember Brian's 'The Pirate' technical program? Last week on I think it was Turner Classic Movies, they showed the Gene Kelly movie 'The Pirate', the movie it came from.

I was annoyed that I hadn't read anywhere about Ice Wars taking place or airing on TV. Someone told me about it that morning I hadn't seen it listed on the skating schedules.
I haven't watched it yet, but was told Brian skated to "That's Life". Is that a new program? Also, didn't he announce at the time that last year was going to be his last Ice Wars?
