Wow, who would have figured that Jeff Weaver would have pitched the game of
his life tonight?
Against the team that he came up with too, against ex teammates like Todd Jones
who had stated
through the media that a lot of his Tigers teammates were glad he was gone. He
showed that he has
gotten past being the World Series Goat for the Yankees and this game and series
should help him
get that multi year contract he wanted last offseason. I'll bet he never
thought he would be
pitching in the World Series after being released by the Angels midseason.
Amazing and
congratulations to Jim Edmonds, another one of my favorites, who might be gone
this offseason too
if his option is not picked up.
