Tonight's game

Another nail biter but the team came through and even better, the Cardinals
were able to beat
those Padres! Thank the Lord for Albert Pujols! Derek Lowe had a shaky outing
but was able to
get his 16th win of the season. Wilson Betemit hit a homerun which was a long
time coming and JD
Drew has set a new single season mark for him on RBI's with his 94th and 95th.
Good job. Noamr
Garciaparra keeps showing the kind of professional he is by getting three hits
tonight and not
wanting to come out of the game for a pinch runner. Loney finally came in to
finish the game at
first base but Nomar is just playing so well injured it's amazing. Nice for
Ethier to come in as
a pinch hitter and get a hit, he has been struggling lately too, it could be
because of the long
season as it happens. Broxton pitched a scoreless two innings and Saito got his
22nd save. A
great team win! I have just realized with tomorrow's game on during the day, I
have seen my last
Dodger game of the season. Now I'm sad...

Kristin
