Well, the team has signed someone that people know.  I'm impressed.  I think that this is a good move.  He will replace the bat of Finley and actually will cost a few million less than what Steve will probably end up signing for.  I am hearing two years, 20 Million.  Kent is also 3 years younger I believe too.  I saw Jeff talk at his press conference and he seems very happy to be here in LA.  I am glad.  I would like to see him play second base but I have a feeling he won't.  I'm hoping he won't be playing third because I would like to think that Beltre will be back with us.  If not Beltre, then another third baseman I guess.  Hopefully this is just the start of some more signings to take place.  I'm not asking for us to overspend but please, we need some name guys out there and Kent is one of them.  With him and Bonds hating each other, it makes the rivalry with the Giants even better!  I would love to know what he thinks about the steroid controversy regarding Barry.
