I heard Ross on KSPN filling in for Joe McDonnell.  As usual Ross was a class act.
 
Some of the rumored replacements are Steve Garvey (wasn't he going to run for Senate?), Ron Cey, Al Downing (neither of these two impressed me in the past doing color commentary), Eric Karros (I thought he did a good job on Fox National broadcasts in September), and Jose Mota (did a good job with the Angels). 
 
The Angels would be smart to add Ross to their radio team if they decide not to renew one or both of their current broadcasters.  Arte Moreno is making a big push in the LA market, and having Ross on the broadcasting team would be a big plus.
