I read this in the Sporting News which was printed a couple of months ago and thought it to be interesting. The article was talking about the Anaheim Angels and how Percival, Glaus and Sele are all free agents and probably would not be back. The article also talked about the Angels signing Beltran (imagine him and Guerrero on the same team?), moving Garret Anderson back to left field, trading or releasing Jose Guillen and here's the sad thing...signing Adrian Beltre to play third base and moving Kotchman to first and the team trading Erstad. I know that Adrian really wants to stay here in Southern California and if the Dodgers don't sign him, he could very well end up in Anaheim. That would be one hell of a team, Guerrero, Beltre, Beltran and Anderson. I don't even want to think about it.... If Frank McCourt wants to keep the Dodgers as the Number 1 team, he resigns Beltre. If we lose him to Anaheim, it would be devastating.
