I was watching sports last night and the announcer stated that there was tragic news out of Baseball stating that former MVP Ken Caminiti was dead at the age of 41 due to a heart attack.  I am saddened to hear this but am also quite aware of what his excessive intake of steroids as well as drugs such as Cocaine and Alcohol can do to a man's system.  Obviously his heart could no longer take it and gave out.  What a sad thing indeed.  I know that he was married with kids....  He was able to conquer his addiction to alcohol some while back but then he started with steroids and the Coke.  Granted the problems he had off of the field, I still liked him as a player on the field.  He always was one of my favorites.  I have quite a few things that he autographed for me and a lot of his cards.  A lot of fans will see him as a cheater.  I see him more as a cheater in life because his life is now over and his children lose their father and his ex wife loses a man who lost his battle with his demons.  It's totally sad.
