How awesome was that game on Saturday?!! That is a baseball purist's
wet dream to be shutout until the bottom of the ninth inning where
you come back to win 7-3 with a game winning grand slam homer by
Steve Finley.

We may have regretted LoDuca's exit this summer for Finley, but we
aren't now... DePodesta's been vindicated by this win.

Dodgers ate it on Sunday, but hey, I don't blame them. They were
taking it easy for the Cards on Tuesday. They didn't need a win.
Houston had clinched the Wild Card title early on in the game so
Dodgers took out their key players and had some of the rookies play.
In fact, I think I saw the janitor and groundscrew at bat in the
eighth...

Anybody have an extra pair or more of tix they want to sell for the
home games this week?
