What a nail biter!  Bases loaded with two outs!  Gagne gets the save!  Thank goodness Green chose to play tonight and take tomorrow off instead.  It was a very good game all around.  I loved the fact that Balco Bonds struck out twice!  Yes, he did hit a homerun but he did it with the bases empty so it was only one run and the Giants lost by one run.  One thing is clear, if we lose the next two games, we still leave San Francisco in first place.  Also, we have four games against the Rockies where the Giants have three against the Padres.  Frankly I would rather face the Rockies than San Diego and once we leave San Francisco, we are home the rest of the season.  We do have an extra game than the Giants which can make a 1/2 difference hopefully in our favor!
