Jim Tracy is now thinking about sending Jackson down to Las Vegas at least
to start the season. It isn't etched in stone but I think Tracy might be
thinking long and hard about keeping Lima on the team. I would love to have
Jose
make the team, he really deserves it. He has had his share of ups and downs
but he has managed to have a great spring and is also a positive influence in
the clubhouse which certainly can only be a plus. Also Lima is not asking to
start, he says that he would come out of the pen. I like his attitude. I am
not souring on the kid Jackson at all but it can't hurt for us to break camp
with Lima on the roster, to see what he can do for us and have Jackson in Las
Vegas for the time being. Lima won't accept a minor league deal and Jackson
still has options. It certainly can't hurt if Tracy decides to go this way.
