I wouldn't even think about trading Pierre for a 2nd tier prospect. I sure hope they don't & judging by the articles & Torre's comments below, doesn't sound like Torre or Colletti would be hardly satisfied with getting a 2nd tier player. I'll be more relieved when Kemp learns when a base is already occupied. He apparently still needs to consider holding his head up as opposed to down from the looks of things the other day. I know it's not popular to think of Pierre rather than Kemp but I like seeing guys who reach MLB level do the little things well, that which they can control.....like fundamentals. You may not be able to make your arm better but you can do the coachable things like "thinking". Maybe that's what got Kent upset last year. Overabundance in the OF is a nice problem to have though. Ethier just got his 3rd hit for the day & threw another guy out at the plate. Threw another guy out at 2nd the other day. Loaiza looked much better today in his 2 innings.
