HA ha! No, just a very satisfied customer! I mean, it’s the Rolls Royce of electric assists. Since I broke my leg on my bike, I thought I’d have to give up riding, at least uphill, which would be difficult in the rolling hills of this part of the country. Electric assist was the only power option I would consider, and Ecospeed is the only thing out there made specifically for BikeE. It turns the bike into a whole new thing. Some would say it’s a way heavy bike, but I would say it’s an ultra light hybrid high power vehicle.

I've been an avid mountain biker for 20 years and have had an FX for
five. All I can say is that it's one kick ass off road bike. It can
smoke any upright on a twisting downhill single track. It also climbs
very well, though the technique is different. I retrofitted electric
assist to mine, so now it smokes them up hill as well :).
With the low seating and hands and feet forward riding position, it's
also safer -- you'll never go over the bars and you can easily drop a
foot to avoid a spill.
