I've had good luck with 100 p.s.i. Kenda Kwests on dry pavement.

However if you brake hard on wet pavement you may find yourself on the
ground!

I have 26" 90 p.s.i. Vredestein Monte Carlos on one of my wedgies and
like them a lot. I looked into getting a set for my BikeE but at that
time they only had a 20" version available. I wanted a matched set on my
BikeE. I contacted Vredestein and a representative told me they were
working on a 16" Monte Carlo, but after several months of waiting I gave
up and bought the Kendas.

I like my schwlabe marathons. They're rated to 100psi but I run them at 85. They're quiet, and they have a nice reflective stripe for added safety at night. ...
