Re: [BikeE] New to the group

That's an oldy bikeE.

You might give yourself a few weeks to adjust to the seat before finding a
different bottom.

Hello all,

Running out shortly, so will have to write more later. A few weeks
back I bought a '98 CT2 with the XL frame. Used, but like new
(almost unused) got it for $300 on eBay, and a local pickup so no
shipping. The weather finally got warm enough in the Chicago area to
do a little riding. I went 13 miles on Tuesday, and realized my butt
doesn't like the standard BikeE seat bottom.

Anyhow...

I keep watching the BikeE's on eBay to see what they're going for,
look for outrageous bargains etc. I saw a VERY unusual one that
looks like it might have been one of the first ones made.
Unfortunately the auction ends in about 5 min, and the reserve has
been reached, so by the time you see this the auction will probably
be over.

But if you want to see an unusual, early, 9sp BikeE, check out item #
3668826450
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3668826450

I look forward to making more posts & talking to other BikeE owners.

Mike
