What I did for the CT that I had was just took it to my LBS and they just
replaced the rim. Also on my AT I replaced the front chain ring with a bigger
one
I think it's a 49 tooth. Some others have added a second ring and manually
changed gears by pulling on the chain guard. Also some have added the 3 chain
rings in the center of their bikeE's like the RX/FX. Hope this is helpful.
