Hi Gang.

If you're thinking about riding in Riverhead, be sure to call the Trail Boss Hotline (631-499-3953) after 6am on Saturday morning.  The forecast has been tricky, and not very dependable.  Right now, the prediction is for 80% chance of thunder storms.  A thunderstorm means more than just a chance of getting wet, so I tend to be conservative in making a decision.  In other words, I'm more likely to cancel the ride than I would be if there were, say, a 10% chance of showers.  But, don't give up yet.  I'll be up early on Saturday morning, checking the latest forecasts, and placing a recording on my machine.

After this weekend the next ride will be on July 4th in Mattituck.
