Many of us ride the bike path along Wantagh Parkway, and are exposed to high-speed traffic.  Just a few years ago, I remember seeing the remains of a motorcycle that had crossed the bike path and crashed.  That time, nobody else got hurt.  Maybe it's time to ask for a guard rail or other barrier to be constructed between the bike path and the roadway.  I'm going to open this up for discussion and comments, and will get some contact information together so we can try to get something done.  You may receive some extra emails for a few days, but I hope this can be a productive effort.
