Hi Gang.
You may have heard about a chemical that's found in plastic water bottles, abbreviated as BPA. It's been linked to breast cancer, prostate cancer, and other illnesses. I've added some links at the bottom of this email so that you can do your own research. I've decided to do 2 things. First, I will no longer buy bottled water in stores (except for emergency use), but instead will use tap water, possibly with an added filter. Second, I will replace the bottles that I use to carry water on my bike and in my car with BPA-free bottles. Camelback makes a nice BPA-free bicycle water bottle (the "Podium bottle"), which is claimed not to have BPA, and also fits well in a water bottle cage on a bike, which means it's less likely to fall on the road in front of your biking friends, as I've seen Poland Springs bottles do far too often.
I hope you find this information useful.
Be well.
George.
