Some of you may be wondering whether this Yahoo Group is alive and
well. Or, maybe you've forgotten that you joined. The group was
started in 2003, with the idea that it would be the way Bike Around
Long Island members could communicate with each other. We had about
80 people signed up for rides in 2004, but only a handful are in the
Yahoo Group. For now, I'd encourage everyone to visit our website
(http://hometown.aol.com/gjwbiker), and join our email list, if you
haven't already done so. I'll be re-examining the practicality of
using Yahoo Groups, and will keep everyone posted as to how we'll be
connecting during 2005.

Meanwhile, I wish everyone a Happy Holiday season, and all the best
for 2005.
