There was talk of a bikeway, I believe between Long Beach and Jones Beach, but I
haven't heard anything lately.

Although this Yahoo group hasn't been very active, our bike group and website

I don't remember getting anything for weeks. A week ago I finished a
correspondence about biking from Manhattan to Montauk. This was on
www.ebikes.org and a copy would have gone to this list except I forgot I
was subscribed. Lately I've been biking in New Jersey anyway; pedalled
to New Brunswick a little over a week ago. This weekend it would have
been smart to go to Long Beach or something, but I didn't use wheels at
all, just walked.

Speaking of which, will there be a bikeway from Long Beach to Jones
Beach? My usual way from Jamaica to JB is pretty tiring.
