The spindle from the bottom bracket from my 80's Giant road bike has a
series of markings that I can dot decifer. The spindle measures 116MM
long, has 10MM externally threaded portions beyond the tapered square
ends. The markings are: Bo 3L and MTBS812. Anyone know what these
mean? Are they manufacturer's marks?
