Nice vastus medialis! Seriously, good job on getting your daughter involved in such a fun way. I was pre-Title IX for most of my formative years, I am so glad there are a multitude of opportunities for girls to get involved in sports now.

Spring Classic Race Report in Portland, Oregon.
This is a great event put on by AA Sports. The flat 3 mile run/15 mile
bike/3 mile run is a great way to kick off the season.
After 6 weeks of battling injury (no more than 15 total miles run during
this time) I plodded my way through this race. You can tell I'm the tub-o
in the attached pic! Thanks goes out to Brian Weeda and Performance
Physical Therapy to getting me ready to run.
Not much to report other than I wanted to share the picture of my daughter
and I. McKenna (not quite 3 years old) finished the last 100 meters of the
race with me to the delight of the spectators. They announced her name as
we finsihed the race and gave her a finisher's medal. She stated at the
finish line "this is cool daddy!"
Afterwards we got to eat chili, dance to the music, and eat popcorn...does
life get any better than this!! She also decided that our new nicknames are
"Mac & Hack".
