John Howard, of Encinitas, California, is according to Bicycling magazine
"arguably the most experienced cyclist in the U.S." From the Olympics to
winning the Hawaiian Ironman to holding the land speed record for cycling,
John has done it all in his long career spanning four decades. John has
trained cyclists from track and road riders to Triathletes since 1982. John
is a "hands on" coach who specializes in bike positioning, muscular and
skeletal evaluation, flexibility and strength programs to help his athletes
reach their peak potential. His clients have included elite amateur and
professional road cyclists, mountain bikers, triathletes, and duathletes.
They are located around the globe from Europe to North America and the
Caribbean and include American and foreign national champions, world
championship competitors, and Olympians. He is a columnist for Triathlete
Magazine, and writes feature stories for other international magazines and
as well as being a regular coach for MultiSports.com Triathlon Camps. See

JOHN HOWARD BIKE FIT/ POSITION ANALYSIS AND STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY SEMINAR
AT COMPUTRAINER BY RACERMATE

John will schedule a two hour private session to fit you to your bike (April
2-6). The seminar will cover bike postioning, including muscular and
skeletal considerations that come from a comprehensive strength and
flexibility evaluation. The use of CompuTrainer for position analysis will
be covered as well. We will also discuss the use of CompuTrainer for
designing a year-round training and conditioning program that is based on
power or watts and time measure. This seminar is designed to teach you how
to get the most out of the CompuTrainer and Coaching Software. For more

street from Ti Cycles, at the Burke-Gilman Trail crossing.

COMPUTRAINER USERS FORUM

CompuTrainer is sending one of their factory specialists to tag team with
John on Friday night at the free forum, and then on Saturday the
CompuTrainer specialist will hold a three hour "users group" workshop
designed to focus on the many features and "how to" utilize this trainer to
its maximum potential. Discussion will also center around the latest and
greatest upgrades available, including a demonstration on the newest DeLorme
Topographic course creation software. Any CT users and friends are welcome
to attend. Also at the CompuTrainer Building.
