That website almost made me ill. I hear rumors of rampant PED use in age group sports (cycling, tri, running, etc), but never gave it much credibility. I guess I am naive that way. I can't even imagine risking health and ethics for this sport that is supposed to be "fun". I can imagine the temptation can be stronger when you are at the highest levels, but never expected that it would be down into our ranks as well. Makes me wonder what we are up against when we go to a race like Nationals, where there is no testing at all at the age group level. I would hope that most of those amazing performances would be a result of hard work, good genetics, and smart racing. Maybe we need to come up with an "Operation Puerto" for the age group triathlon ranks to nail all those on that site. I don't even think I could go back and look at that message board again, it just makes me so mad.Daryl Smith, PTUSAT L1 Certified Coach827 Spieden LaneBellingham, WA 98229425.283.7433-------- Original Message --------

Hi all,
I am posting a link to a site that seems to have rather high traffic and also has a group of athletes that find it "OK" to use PED (Performance Enhancing Drugs). All age groupers from the looks of it and it seems that they are rather proud of their 'accomplishment(s)'. I TRULY hope that no one in this area, on this board or anyone that you know is participating in such blatant disregard for the honor, morality and positive health status that comes with training for and competing in an event. Getting one's speed in a bottle just seems so wrong to me on so many levels I just had to post this link...

The link is to a website forum... check out some of the titles if anything at all.
