Chris is correct. We are not yet authorized to spend RTP grant money until we have the signed contact from the State. This should come any day now. Keep in mind that the is a reimbursement type of grant. In other words, Berkshire NEMBA spends the money on the approved materials (ie. the trailer) and is reimbursed when we submit our "match" (ie. the timesheets that show of volunteer labor contribution).

I don't mean to be the downer on everyone's enthusiasm, but unless Brad knows otherwise,I have not received a check yet from anyone, so it seems a little premature to be prespending the money. I'm also to understand that the majority of this money will not come to us until the projects that the grant was for are completed. That being said, the money is only to be spent on those projects and I'm not sure if the grant was inclusive of a tool trailer. Before we go to much further, it would be good to know more information on what we are allowed to spend the grant money on, when we should expect to receive it, and how to obtain the matching NEMBA funds.Chris CalvertArcadian Shop(413) 637-3010(w)(413) 441-3058(c)

I made a quick stop to check it out, they're asking $2100 for it, I think it's 5'x8'. I'll stop in the morning with a tape measure and write the phone number down, I didn't have anything with me to record it.
Do we have this much money in available now? Do we know when to expect the disbursement from the grant?
I'm thinking this may be a little small, I was looking at 6'x10' as the minimum, and they start at $2500 new. I'll have a preliminary floor plan I'll try to send out tomorrow for everyone to review.
Does anyone have any thoughts on additional tools we may want to put in here? I'd like to include them in the floor plan so so we don't have to strap stuff on the roof after we add some more tools. If you can provide tool dimensions (only for stuff not listed) and the quantity of what you think we may need, that would be a big help. Also if we need additional quantities of what we already have please comment on that too.
One thing I think we should look at adding is some carpentry tools for bridge work.
