Rob,
Consider this. The "old" vinyl covered seat on your JS1 has a unique
nose that holds one nicely without slipping forward. The vinyl cover
is terrible for sweating though. I stripped the covering off my seat
and simply replaced it with 2" foam. It's got much better breathing
now and is very comfortable. Only needed to buy foam, Velcro and Shoe
Goo.
