I am thinking about replacing the stock seat on my Actionbent JS1 with
a homebuilt seat. Part of this is purely for the fun of doing it
myself, part because I am cheap. (Anybody got a used hardshell seat for
sale?) The starting point for my design is the anATOMic plywood shell,
but I plan on using 2 plywood rails to attach the seat to the frame,
and instead of the plywood shell, use horizontal slats like the bottom
of the adirondack chairs on my patio. Does anyone have any comments or
suggestions? Can you direct me to some websites with plans for seats
that have some dimensions?
