Hi John - thanks for the nice offer. I'm apparently a size 43/44, as
I just tried some SPD sandals at my lcoal LBS and the 41/42 were too
small.

It only took one large bump on my trike run this past week (albeit on
a very rocky part of our road- not nmy usual fare) for me to realize
that I just have to have this equipment (or a quick & dirty standby)
RIGHT NOW.
