I personally like Alki Bike and Board (located in West Seattle at
Admiral way and California Ave). Stu runs it. He is very friendly and
knowledgeable. He has been in business a long time and not afraid to
work on anything. I also know he sells some bents, usually the EZ
series and have seen him working on EZ-3's and occaisionally selling
them. He loves bikes of all kinds. Also has very competitive rates.

On another note, I know that you can get really wide gear ranges with a
triple chainring and mega-range rear cassette (11-34 8 or 9 speed). You
just need a long arm rear derailleur.
