Hi Recumbent Folks,

Below is a note I got from Jeromy Kostner. Here's a great chance
to show off your machines so check out the info below. If you
can help out in anyway, get in touch with Jeromy.

Subject: Human-Powered and Light Electric Vehicle Rally at Shoreline
Comm
College Oct 13-14

Hi Kent,

I enjoyed speaking with you on the phone a few weeks ago and wanted to
touch base again as the plans for the rally are taking shape. Just to
recap, the Human-Powered and Light Electric Vehicle Rally will be one
component of a larger two-day clean-energy/sustainability event called
Odyssey Days on Oct. 13-14 at Shoreline Community College -- free and
open to the public. The HPV-LEV Rally will include an open showcase of
numerous personally owned human-powered and light electric or
electric-assisted vehicles and various related accessories (trailers,
carts, racks, and such), as well as Saturday-afternoon races of these
vehicles. Please see www.shoreline.edu/odyssey/registration/rally.html
for more details about the rally, and www.shoreline.edu/odyssey for more
details about the larger Odyssey Days event.

We are assembling this diverse open showcase of new and novel vehicles
and accessories to attract, entertain, and inspire people's
imaginations, while also informing them about the growing movement
toward better, cleaner transportation and more walkable, bikeable
communities. To that end, we would love to have Bicycle Alliance
exhibit at Odyssey Days.

Currently, I need help identifying and contacting owners of unique
vehicles, as well as informing the broader cycling community of the
event, which is open to participation by anyone of any age. I would
also appreciate any help I can get in organizing or conducting the rally
so it will be as successful and fun as possible. Please let me know how
you might be willing and able to help. Thank you for all you are
already doing.

Warm regards,

Jeromy Kostner
