Larry:
I own a customized Catrike Speed which I had a shop in Florida build for me and then ship to Seattle. My first Catrike was purchased from David Brumsickle at Silverdale Cyclery -- friendly and accommodating, but a trek by car or car/ferry. I use Silverdale for those rare problems I cannot fix myself.
Aurora Cycles (one of the Gregg chain) on Aurora Avenue west of Greenlake Park sells a limited inventory of recumbents including some low end trikes. I've never had any service done there on my trike, but my experience with single and tandem df servicing has been outstanding. It might be worth your while to chat with them.

Subject: [BentPacNW] Bent shops
My wife and I just moved back to the Seattle area (Renton) after an absence of 25 years. One of the first tasks is to find a good bent shop. (I may need to add a 3x9 to my tadpole to save my knees on the hills. My wife already has one on her GTC.) Angle Cycles in Kent was too busy and neither very friendly nor helpful. Any suggestions? A decent bike shop that does not discriminate against 3-wheel bents would be fine.
More questions to come...
Thanks.
