Mr. Ako
Sorry for the delay. The match was a tough one you know. the first half was comparatively tough. The Ardracks improved alot in skills and fitness lately. We went for the halftime break with 15 to 10 points in our favor...
With few strategic and timely changes by the Captain Saimone, the second half was all dominated by the Brothers..the final score was 40 Brothers and Ardracks 10....
Any thanks for continuous support and we'll keep in touch...I believe the Beijing Cup competition will be going for a break until September its when we started playing again. From what I know I believe we are leading on the ladder with Longban second, Ardracks or Devils might share the last two position...Unfortun ately we haven't had a match against Devils in this first half of the season..
God Bless
Albert

Well guys,
I suppose we had to let "our mates" from the Longbang win for a change last weekend - especially after a torrid tour in the rough and tumble of PNG...well you all deserve your break.
I guess also that as exams are in progress and study times are now clashing with our training for the Beijing Cup, we more or less are becoming more relaxed especially when NO ONE IS DOING ANY STUDYING BETWEEN 5-7pm on training days!
Well, there you go! Keep this trend up and we will continue to play second fiddle to the devils year in year out! I wont be supprise too if"our other mates" from the Aardvarks notch a couple of wins against us too!
Much love!
Forever a brethren!

Hi guys, girls, and members,
The CHEVRON Beijing Niu Xiongdi RFU Club just had a very successful tour last week in PNG - judging by the daily media splash from the time of arrival last Tuesday (29/4/08) until their departure yesterday (5/5/08) - when ever the FM cental and NBC reporters were again at Jacksons International Airport to see them off.
Well, the tour was very successful as it opened the eyes of the PNG Rugby fratertinity as to how a bunch of students from Beijing can go about organising a real international tour and achieving 100% success (as the game against the POM-selected 15s doesnt count).
The tour also enabled the boys to lift their performance to the next level and matured the boys as they came up against much heavier and bigger opponents done those you face weekly in Beijing.
While the award of the "Tour Rookie" was given by the PNGDF to Isi Tua, I also think that the performances of Big KAho Tuit and, Saia Uta'atu improved tremendously this past week. The Captain, Mone Lavakei'aho, was at its usual best - barnstorming runs and crunching tackles - will be sorely missed by his PNG oponents. Apiline Falevai, Pou Taunaholo, Simi Neli, Dashan Rabalaka, and Daniel "Angelo" Wak, were also there in PNG to make their presence felt. And the crowd roared everytime Chris Faafo, Danny PEpson, Banga magic, Bill Tomon, Albert Toby touched the ball - whether it be in a knock-on or not - their presence was still appreciated - and the monster centre Soakai Taufa was the most fearsome of all and equally feared in PNG as his fearless runs broke the defence line time and again on most occasions.
And wit the assistance of our PNG-based players in Caleb Pepson, Alister Wak, James tokuk, Alan Arisa, Henry Aisi, and Boe Vaieke, we all did Brothers proud this past week.
Well guys, this is how I saw the tour develop the club this past week.
I wish you all the best and hope to see you all in the near future.
May God bless CHEVRON Beijing Niu Brothers RFU richly in its future endeavors, and in your studies and every day living for ever.
Yours in rugby,
Lahui
